5 Places to go for a Snowy Christmas

Have you watched the movie Home Alone? You remember when Kevin McCallister looked out the window Christmas morning and saw the snowflakes falling? Aspen, CO

This winter activity-filled city boasts a 100% chance of snow on Christmas every year, so you can be sure to see soft snowflakes falling on Christmas morning. In the city, you can partake in the 12 Days of Aspen, which offers you plenty of things to do leading up to Christmas. You can also join large groups of carolers at Snowmass Mall and Base Village.

 

Anchorage, AK

While this city is located off the mainland in Alaska, it boasts an impressive record of 31 consecutive snowy Christmases! In the beautiful city, you can take your kids to see illuminated animal displays at Alaska Zoo’s “Zoo Lights.” If you would rather stay indoors, you can head to the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts and enjoy “A Christmas Carol”.

 

Chicago, IL
