Cool Thursdays Concert Series

Presented by Wells Fargo

All concerts are held on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn. Gates open at 6 p.m. Concerts are 7:30-9:30 p.m. for Spring/Summer concerts and from 7 – 9 p.m. for Fall concerts. Garden closes at the conclusion of each concert.

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved inside to Rosine Hall. Due to limited space, inside seating is based on a first come, first served basis. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, bring low-to-the-ground chairs and blankets as no seating is provided. A determination of weather-altered plans will be made by 3 p.m. on the day of the concert.

Food and Beverage

Guests are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, ice chests and coolers with their choice of favorite snacks and drinks. And some of Dallas’ favorite food trucks will also be on site for food and beverage purchase. Alcoholic drinks are permitted to be brought on site but will not be available for purchase from food vendors. Please drink responsibly. Dallas Police Department will be on site during all concerts. Make sure to check out each food truck’s website and social media pages for menus and other information about what they will be serving.

Seating

The Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn is within a five-minute walk from any of the Arboretum’s entry gates. Please plan accordingly. You may bring blankets and low to the ground lawn chairs.

To ensure clear sightlines and enhance enjoyment for all our guests, we ask all concert goers to respect the following:

  • Only low-profile lawn chairs and picnic blankets may be in the area closest to the stage.
  • Chairs with seats higher than 4 inches from the ground are welcome further back on the concert lawn.

Group Discount

Groups of 15 or more may purchase tickets to the Cool Thursdays Concert Series for a discount of $2 off the non-member price. For more information on group discounts, please visit the Group Sales page.
