How to Buy Tickets
Tickets may be purchased in person at the Museum Box Office, by calling (919) 715-5923, or online.
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted. In person the Box Office also accepts cash and personal checks.

A service fee is charged per ticket and varies according to event type.
Beginning January 1, 2015, in accordance with N.C. General Statute § 105-164.4(a)(10)—the Omnibus Tax Act—the Museum is required to charge sales tax on most ticket purchases and on the non-tax-deductible portion of any membership. The tax applied will consist of current state sales tax of 4.75% and current 2% Wake county tax. As always, please consult your tax advisor regarding tax deduction issues.

Member Tickets

Members are eligible for free or discounted tickets to most Museum events. The level of membership determines the number of free or discounted tickets available to each member.
Accessibility

Patrons requiring accessible seating for events in the amphitheater and wishing to purchase tickets online should buy general admission tickets, including any necessary companion tickets. When you arrive at the amphitheater, a guard at the entrance gate will show you to your designated seating area.

Advance Purchases

Group Tickets
Tickets for groups of 10 or more can be purchased in person at the Museum Box Office or by calling (919) 715-5923. If your group is affiliated with a school or if you would like a docent-led tour, please let us know when making your reservation.
Children

The children’s ticket policy varies by event. For paid special exhibitions, children 6 and under are admitted free with an adult. For most concerts and films, tickets are required for any child 6 and up.
