African Art
You will find in this section having the masks, figures, hats, and knives in the museum´s collection used 2,500 years, from Nigeria´s early Nok culture, till the mid-1900s.
You will find the Glassell Collection of African Gold having nearly 800 pieces, the Glassell Collection of African Gold contains nice works from the royal courts of the Akan peoples of Ghana and Côte d´Ivoire for that matter.
You might be interested to know that this Glassell Collection is considered to be the finest of its sort being available anywhere in the world as its uniqueness rests on it being the sole substantial collection of African gold in an American museum.
American Sculpture and Painting

The Glassell Collection of Indonesian Gold
One of the largest gatherings of Indonesian gold displayed in an American museum, the collection contains rare and outstanding objects from the most important island cultures of Indonesia, where gold jewelry and ritual objects are crucial to the structure and meaning of life.
Adolpho Leirner Collection of Brazilian Constructive Art
This collection will enthuse you for its finest examples of geometric abstraction in paintings, constructions, drawings, posters, and graphic materials by Brazil’s artists of the post-World War II era.
Decorative Arts
The museum´s collection of modern and contemporary decorative arts highlights the prime decorative arts movements along with its specimen of the exceptional design, craftsmanship, and originality.

Five galleries in the Beck Building are being dedicated to presenting the outstanding collection of European art including the works by Lucas Cranach the Elder, Sandro Botticelli, Pietro Longhi, Sir Joshua Reynolds, Thomas Gainsborough, and Jean-Baptiste Oudry.
Impressionism/Post-Impressionism
This section will impress you with its collection of key works by Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, and Édouard Vuillard. You will find here the fine examples of early Modern painting like the canvases by artists such as Pablo Picasso and Fernand Léger.
Latin American Art
This section will present before you the museum´s collection comprising of nearly 760 modern and contemporary Latin American works along with its 2,500 Pre-Columbian objects as well.
You might be interested to know that this center is the sole one of the sort having the fame of being the only one of its kind in the world, having both a curatorial department and a resource center within the museum.
